Elijah joined NexGen in November 2023 and quickly discovered a passion not just for coaching, but for mentoring young players and helping them grow on and off the pitch. After starting his journey alongside Patrick with the U8 Black squad, he experienced his biggest learning curve as a coach — a season that culminated in the team winning the Bronze Trophy in their first year together. This success strengthened his commitment to developing young players through positivity, patience, and high-quality coaching.

Now leading the U7 Academy and U7 Black teams, Elijah continues to grow rapidly within the club. He begins his UEFA C qualification in February, a step that reflects his dedication to improving his knowledge, refining his coaching craft, and delivering the best possible sessions for his players. Elijah brings enthusiasm, strong communication, and a genuine care for each child’s development, creating a supportive environment where confidence and enjoyment come first.
