Charlie is a passionate UEFA C–licensed coach with over four years of experience developing young players in both grassroots and academy environments. Having worked at Blackpool FC Academy, he has gained valuable insight into professional coaching standards, including the opportunity to shadow Neil Critchley, former Liverpool assistant manager and Blackpool FC manager. This exposure has shaped his modern, detail-driven approach to player development.

His coaching philosophy focuses on building strong technical foundations, nurturing resilience, and encouraging a growth mindset in every player — whether they’re aiming for the elite pathway or simply growing in confidence through the game. Alongside his coaching career, Charlie is also working toward becoming a qualified teacher, further strengthening his ability to communicate, motivate, and support young people both on and off the pitch.
