Head Coach

Ashley Hunte is an FA Level 2 qualified coach and the Head Coach of NexGen Football Club.

Since taking on the role 3 years ago, he has overseen a period of significant growth, guiding the club from 8 teams to 23 involving 200 plus children. He strives to establish clear footballing standards across all age groups. During this time, 15 NexGen players have progressed into professional academies — including 6 girls and 9 boys — a record he is extremely proud of.

With a strong focus on long-term player development and high coaching standards, Ashley is committed to building environments where players can thrive both on and off the pitch. Looking ahead, he remains driven to push NexGen forward, continuing to raise standards, create opportunities and ensure the club’s future success.
