With over five years of youth coaching experience, including specialist work with goalkeepers, Ryan brings both playing pedigree and strong developmental insight to NexGen. A former Bromley FC Academy player, he featured in the club’s historic FA Youth Cup Third Round run and went on to make numerous appearances for the U23s before stepping into senior football. He has since made 100+ senior appearances at Step 5 and 6, currently playing for Phoenix Sports, and uses this high-level experience to guide young players with realism, detail, and professionalism.

Currently holding his FA Level 1 and exploring the UEFA C pathway, he is committed to continuous development as a coach. He also holds a BA (Hons) in Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport, giving him a strong understanding of youth development, learning behaviours, and player motivation. His coaching style prioritises confidence, clarity, and creating enjoyable sessions that help every player progress both technically and personally.
