UEFA B Coach

Ruben is a UEFA B Licensed coach with experience across elite academy and senior football in both Portugal and England. Having coached at top organisations including SC Braga, Bromley FC Academy, and multiple grassroots development environments, he brings a wealth of tactical knowledge, modern methodology, and player-centred coaching to NexGen. Ruben has led age groups from U7 all the way to U17, including roles as Phase Lead and senior team analysis coach, giving him a deep understanding of player development across all stages.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Ruben creates positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where every child feels supported and challenged. He is known for his ability to build strong relationships with players, deliver clear communication, and adapt tactically during games. With an FA Youth Award, safeguarding and first-aid certifications, and extensive experience using video analysis tools such as Veo and Hudl, Ruben combines professionalism, safety, and technical detail to help young players grow with confidence and purpose.
